Meet the Owners
With over 20 years of combined real estate experience, Shawn & Joni are committed to staying ahead of the game in today’s changing real estate market. Beginning their real estate journey in college, they have each spent the years since mastering the ins and outs of this complex business.
In addition to real estate experience, both Shawn and Joni have the skills it takes to stay on top in the real estate business. Shawn received his degree in Entrepreneurial Studies from the Anderson School of Management, graduating Cum Laude. Joni is a licensed broker both in New Mexico and Texas who has experience working with Texas Hometown Realty, Re/Max and Real Property Management Preferred.
Despite their experience, Shawn and Joni never stop learning about topics like property wholesaling, pre-foreclosure acquisitions, property rehabilitation & contracting, leasing & management, owner financing, commercial real estate, contracts and state laws. Based on a solid foundation of experience and integrity, they’ve built Texas Turnkey Properties into the ideal partner for real estate investors.
Meet the Team
Operations Director: Amber Siau-Sodke
Amber Siau-Sodke brings more than 20 years of diverse financial, and business accounting experience. Amber studied at the University of Florida Tech, where she graduated and earned her Accounting and Business Management degree. Amber strives to learn new ways, can takes on any challenge thrown at her. She leads by example and is one who will roll up her sleeves to get the job done. Amber brings strong interpersonal skills, leadership, and integrity by building confidence from colleagues across the organization. Amber has gained extensive accounting experience through past rolls as a Senior Staff Accountant, Office Manager, and Payroll Manager for a variety of Construction and Real Estate firms. Amber is dedicated and committed to helping clients in the management, financial, accounting, and human resource area.
Amber is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, Certified Insurance Adjuster, and is a member of her Florida Tech Alumni Association Group.
Amber enjoys traveling, boating, riding her horses, and spending time with her husband and daughter. With her love for processes and training, Amber has brought her extensive knowledge to TTK Properties, LLC & Real Property Management Preferred to allow the company to become the efficient and resourceful leader it is today.
Operations Manager: Andrea Huezo
Andrea Huezo is the Operations Assistant Manager for Real Property Management Preferred. She is responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations, procedures, and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency, as well as communication with both Owners, Residents, and Vendors.
Andrea has been with Real Property Management Preferred since 2013. She started as the receptionist and quickly became the Leasing Manager. Building her reputation and diverse management skills she made it her goal to learn in depth all departments including maintenance, resident relations, and accounting relations.
She is a member of American Association of Notaries, The National Association of Residential Property Managers and Society for Human Resource Management.
Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 dogs. When she’s not spending time with her loved ones she likes helping at animal rescue sites or just spending time in nature. With her quick ability to learn and her love to help others, Andrea has become a great leader for Real Property Management Preferred
Accounts Payable: Ruth Mendoza
Ruth Mendoza works in the Accounts Payable department for Real Property Management Preferred. She demonstrates leadership and strives to create trust with owners and residents by instilling confidence with her stellar customer service.
Ruth has been with this company since 2017. Prior to joining the RPM team, she worked as a front desk customer service representative for a 5-star Pet Resort, ensuring the happiness of all clients and maintaining a professional environment alongside her peers.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, outdoor activities and spending quality time with her family. Ruth aims to achieve a reputation for delivering exceptional performance.
Leasing Manager: Lesley Clark
Lesley Clark is the Leasing Manager at Real Property Management Preferred. She Manages and directs the daily activities of the leasing operations department in accordance with organization policies and standards. She is also responsible for all leasing functions, which may include reviewing and negotiating lease transactions and agreements. Lesley is also in charge of Marketing, and keeping Communicating with the owners of all the account managed regarding any leasing questions or problems, As well as the applicants.
Lesley has been with Real Property Management Preferred since September 2017. She stared off as a front desk receptionist and then was promoted to Leasing Manager for demonstrating hard work and dedication. Working at Real Property Management Preferred has allowed her to work in a very pleasant and professional working environment. Prior to working at Real Property Management Preferred Lesley was a Loan Officer for 2 years were she learned about customer service skills and how to work in difficult situations.
On Lesley’s free time she enjoys spending time with her dog and husband, watching movies, going on walks, and playing drums.
Resident Relations: Shelly Estrada
Shelly joined Real Property Management Preferred on October of 2017. She is in charge of customer relations; She interacts with current tenants and owners to gain and retain customers. Basic job duties include, lease renewals, tenant relations, early terminations and move outs. When she is not working, she can be found doing school work during the week and spending time with her family and enjoying her time outdoors during the weekend.
Accounts Receivable: Teri Thomas
Teri Thomas handles Accounts Receivable at Real Property Management Preferred. Teri has been with the company since 2016, she is a newly graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Prior to joining Real Property Management, Teri was an assistant manager for a well-known personal loan company where she developed skills for collections and finance. Teri enjoys traveling, bowling, dancing, spending time with her family, and preparing for motherhood. With her love for organization, discipline and training, Teri has brought her knowledge to Real Property Management to allow the company to become the successful company it is today.
Maintenance Coordinator: Monica Gonzalez
Monica Gonzalez works in our Maintenance Department since 2017. She receives service calls, makes sure the proper vendors are assigned for maintenance services, Insurance & Home Warranty claims. She communicates with both vendors and residents.
Prior to Real Property Management Monica worked as a Manager for over 5 years, and Customer Service Supervisor for over 11 years in California and Texas.
Monica enjoys reading, history, crafts & working on classic cars with her husband. With Monica’s experience and knowledge, she brings fulfillment to our residents with their maintenance concerns.
Business Development Manager: Brian Foster
Brian Foster handles sales and marketing for both TTK LLC & RPMP. Brian’s career began in Consumer Packed Goods sales with companies like Johnson & Johnson and Gatorade. He moved from his Native New England to the Houston Area in 1990 and has held a variety of Sales and Sales Management positions throughout the Western US.
Brian became interested in Real Estate Investing shortly after his arrival in The Woodlands and purchased his first rental property in 1994. He has enjoyed REI for the past 24 years and has studied the Greater Houston Area’s economy and Real Estate growth the entire time.
Brian enjoys golfing and watersports in our great climate and he has 2 adult daughters. You will find Brian enjoying our Houston area sports teams, especially when his favorite Red Sox and Patriots come into town for games.
Home Inspector: Erick Huezo
“Erick Huezo is the inspector at RPM Preferred. He is responsible for acknowledging preventative maintenance issues during routine inspections, noting tenant violations, inspecting vacant homes, reviewing code work, placing signs & lockboxes, taking & uploading marketing pictures. Erick has been with the company since 2014, holding various positions within the maintenance department.
Prior to joining RPM Preferred, Erick was a Lead Pharmacy Technician for CVS Pharmacies where he was responsible for overseeing orders & processing of pharmaceutical products in bulk sizes.
Erick enjoys hiking, conversing deeply, & spending quality time with his wife. With a love for derails & observation, Erick has brought his keen eye to RPM Preferred to produce detailed inspections.”
